Bunnies on the wall, saw them as a kid. Running and hiding from room to room, from closet to hall. I thought I was alone, never got to see. Occasionally saw a smile, sometimes the biggest grin.
Bunnies on the wall, sometimes red but mostly white. Sometimes you spoke but I just didn’t understand. I keept chasing you throughout the years until you all disappeared. By then I was not alone. I had friends, people who cared, time to be spent. No more time to play under the house I once lived hopping large gaps like I thought you did, hiding well like you taught me. My time did go and with it so did you and then the more serious wicked things arrived. Darkness surrounded the halls, the walls became thick, and I began to be lonely again. Then osmosis occurred and there where two, there was a coin to flip and use. And I’ve been rolling ever since bunnies on the wall hopping through obstacles, hiding from danger, surviving…surviving. I’m glad to see you came back bunnies on the wall, you didn’t forget how we hop hop hop

Today’s Daily doodle was inspired by the Orlando Museum of art. While in the Mayan art section I saw a tool that was believed to be used by Mayan Doctors as a hallucinogenic snuff to help cure ailments. The Snuff is called Virola and it was used in a small animal shaped vessel made out of Quartz. The description also said that people who where born with dwarfism where revered as people with great power and closer to the gods, So my Doodle contains what went through my mind when I saw that: A Mayan witch doctor annoyed by his apprentice who clearly does not know where he is working. Used the new version of Sketch book pro with the Copic marker library (bad ass by the way Autodesk! Stand ovation!) and photoshop, I like my light trick there. Enjoy the doodle!
